Marcia Schenone established The Schenone Group after extensive experience as a senior manager in the engineering, construction and international shipping industry–most notably as vice president of administration, North America, for a $4 billion containerized shipping corporation with offices in 100 countries, and as corporate business manager of a $1.5 billion international engineering company.

Her extraordinary ability to analyze and sharpen business operations to work at their peak effectiveness was honed in those challenging, high-stakes environments. That expertise, along with a talent for conceptualizing and moving complex facilities projects and an unwavering loyalty to clients, form the core of The Schenone Group’s reputation for managing projects not only to success, but beyond expectations.
 



 

 

Business Operations: We provide management assistance, which may include strategic planning, standard operating procedures, cost segregation studies, mergers and acquisitions, relocations, budgeting and managing payables. Ensuring your business – any and all aspects – runs better is our goal.

Needs Determination: With your budget, finances and corporate image always in mind, we assess your space, lease, equipment, furnishings and telecommunications needs so that we can help you develop plans and meet or exceed your goals.

Site Selection and Construction: We smooth the process, including selection of a real estate advisor; screening of potential landlords; development of design prototypes and specifications; site inspection and selection; and lease negotiations. In the construction phases, we obtain and review contractors’ proposals; interview and recommend construction professionals and monitor the work.

Occupancy: We take the many moving parts of occupancy – staff relocation, day-to-day operations, managing lease obligations and expenses – and make them seamless.

 

New Business Operations: Opened nine 1,800 square-foot wellness centers across the country, delivering them from concept through occupancy in only eight months, bringing in much of the project significantly below budget.

Telecommunications: Brought in new Internet-based telecommunications system for national network of independent offices and a major call center. Smoothly redirected and renegotiated the company’s original telecommunications plans.

Emergency Preparedness:
Established a global company’s plan to ensure uninterrupted operations for 25 locations and 1,000 staff members nationwide, relying on generators, satellite phones, foodstuffs, supplemental lighting and other essentials.

Relocation:
Seamlessly and with no business interruption relocated an international engineering company’s 400-plus staff members after completing the design and renovation of its new 100,000 square-foot office building.

Renovation and Expansion:
Completed the renovation of 90,000 square feet of fully occupied office space with no interruption of day-to-day business operations.
